Hi all,
I’m very excited to announce an extra special, first-time JZM at our apartment! We’ve lined up an expert jiao zi chef to cook us dinner in the intimacy of Global Trade Mansion. We’ll have meat and vegetarian dumplings, plus other delicious local food.
And in addition to dinner, we’re going to do a DVD and book exchange – so use this opportunity to refresh your collections. Give away or trade your old books, magazines and DVDs for new ones!
Details:
- Cost per person: 50RMB for food, drinks, clean up and a chance to pet Jackie dog
- Time: 7:30pm onwards
- Location: Global Trade Mansion (shi mao guo ji gong yu) 世贸国际公寓, Building B2, Apartment 10F, No.9 Guanghua Lu. Directly adjacent to “The Place” shopping mall (shi mao tian jie) 世贸天阶 on the south side.

What you need to do:
- RSVP by tomorrow night (Friday). Click here or email me to let me know if you’re coming. We have to go shopping over the weekend, so need reliable numbers by Friday.
- Look through your bookshelf and DVD rack and bring along items to give away or trade. (I have about 40 books ready, and probably over 100 DVDs and counting.)
Note: Please join us if you RSVP. Similarly, don’t show up at that last minute unannounced. We need to get the numbers right to buy food and drink, pay our helpers, etc, etc. If you RSVP and don’t show up, you’re costing us all money – and yes, I’ll come looking for you and I will collect
