So I rode my blinged bike past this restaurant the other day and it no longer exists! It was my favorite vegetarian place in Beijing. But my JZM memories there will never be demolished for a subway line.

First time we ever aborted a Jiao Zi Monday. I have to admit that the restaurant was definitely not to our liking, so we decided to switch places.

Wound up finding a really nice Shanghai/Hangzhou restaurant called Feng Sao (35 Jinbao Jie, tel 6527 7877) which was classy and served great food. We even managed to get in just under the 50RMB budget.

Once again, JZM is ahead of the pack, having identified this gem last October!
