You can’t beat good BBQ and i think this will be a great place to try some.  I ride past it every day on my way to work and i have thought about making it a JZM destination for a while now.  Looking forward to seeing you all there at the usual 7:30.

The restaurant is located just west of IKEA on shuguang xi lu (曙光西路）and the intersection is taiyang gong jie (太阳宫南街）

I’m confident this place will carry the JZM flag proudly this week, it represents many of the JZM values, such as great food at an affordable price. Sanlitun Xiwu Lu is one street north of Dongzhimenwai, the restaurant is near the corner of Sanlitun Bei Lu.

Yes, that’s my translation for the name of this restaurant. My colleague and I discovered this restaurant last Monday and we have eaten there 3/5 days for lunch and have dragged along two other people to eat with us since. We have made it our unofficial cantine. We would eat there every day if there were nothing special going on. Here, we’ve had the friendliest server in Beijing, very generous portions and a nice environment at very economical prices. Thus, I am excited to share this place with you jzm-ers.

address is 230 鼓楼东大街 but the address is a little covered up, so i included a pic for your convenience。 It is past 南锣鼓巷 (nanluo guxiang) but before Gulou it’self on the South side of the street.

Looks like a nice place with good atmosphere and passing it the other day i thought it would be great for JZM.  so i took a picture.

the above translation is probably not correct, but the cuisine should be good (Guizhou). Suantangyu is in the name, so its obviously on the menu. The restaurant is on dongzhimen nei, so should be easy to find.
