Winter is soon coming and to put some fat on our bones for the cold months that lie ahead, today’s JZM choice is Dongbeiren (东北人）， a colorful, bustling place with festively dressed waitresses serving all of your heavy, filling not “nouvelle cuisine” Dongbei favorites.

Restaurant is easy to find compared to those out of the way small jiaozi places. It is about 400 meter east of Dongzhimen bridge. If walking from second ring road on the south side of Dongzhimen Waidajie, walk past Ginza Mall two streets further to Xinzhong Jie, where you turn right and walk about twenty meters until you should hopefully see this multi-story restaurant on your right side.
