Nea found this great little restaurant one day after she spent four hours driving hard bargains in the Silk Street Market. It lifted her spirits and tickled her taste buds – so she brought it to my attention. And since it comes highly recommended from those who live in the area, I figured we should give it a try.
Kinda like Mexican food, only different
Name: Yu Xiang Jia Chu
Location: in an alley across the road from the Silk Street Market. Basically across from the East entrance of the market – there are a bunch of stalls and fast-food restaurants. This place is at the entrance of the alley on the East side of Dong Da Qiao Lu.
Type of cuisine: Hunan/Sichuan/spicy
Closet subway stop: Yong An Li
